Republic of Malawi
The recruitment of General Forestry Course (GFC) trainees by the Department of Forestry is underway. Eighty students will be recruited and trained at the Malawi College of Forestry and Wildlife in Dedza. Students will be trained in general forestry for two years and will graduate with a Certificate in Forestry. Upon successful completion, these students will be employed as Forest Assistants (Grade M) and posted to different stations in the Department of Forestry across the country.
